About Cody

I believe meaningful therapy begins with the experience of being genuinely understood. At the centre of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself — creating a space where clients feel safe enough to speak openly, reflect deeply, and explore the parts of themselves that may have previously felt difficult to share. For many people, therapy is one of the first places they have experienced being truly listened to, understood, and emotionally held. Some clients come to therapy having spent years feeling unseen, misunderstood, responsible for everyone else, or unable to openly share what they are carrying internally. My aim is to offer a different experience — one grounded in authenticity, warmth, curiosity, and genuine human connection. My approach is relational and insight-oriented, informed by attachment theory, interpersonal frameworks, and psychodynamic thinking. Together, we explore not only current challenges, but also the deeper patterns and relational experiences that shape the way you relate to yourself and others. While therapy can sometimes feel challenging, I believe meaningful change often happens through the experience of feeling safely connected, deeply heard, and less alone in what you are carrying. Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, thoughtfully supported, and able to engage with themselves with greater honesty, clarity, and self-understanding.
